Welcome to 69É«ÇéƬ. We are a Modern Orthodox, Zionist, co-educational, Jewish day school in the heart of Perth, Western Australia.

Our small classes allow us to provide a personalised education for our students, who are known by their teachers and develop strong and effective working relationships with them.

Our dedicated teachers build a culture of learning, enabling our students to thrive, all the way from Kindy to Year 12. In a safe and nurturing environment, our students take advantage of the many opportunities on offer to them.

We foster a love of learning in our students, who benefit from a very strong sense of community. New students are warmly welcomed to the School and our graduates retain close friendship groups long after they have completed their studies. Carmel students develop a sound understanding of their social responsibility and our curriculum provides them with a deep exploration of their Jewish faith.

We are proud of the academically rigorous education we provide at Carmel. Our students understand the importance of working hard and doing their best. They work together to improve learning and collaborate with each other and with their teachers, to strive for excellence.

At 69É«ÇéƬ, teachers work closely with students to develop independence whilst ensuring that students’ wellbeing is supported. Feedback is regular and constructive and students learn to set appropriate targets, aim high and achieve their best. Small classes and professional, specialist teachers provide ample opportunities for teachers to personalise learning and support every student to reach their goals.

Our aim is that Carmel graduates are young women and men who have developed a love of learning, who know right from wrong and who are courageous enough to live according to a set of carefully thought-out values. Carmel graduates are sufficiently resilient to thrive in their post-school lives and make a difference in the world.

We are a small enough school that your son or daughter will be known and cared for; large enough to provide excellent opportunities for our students.

We warmly invite you to come and visit our campus, experience a Carmel welcome and see our teachers and students in action. We are confident that you will be impressed with our school community.
